A more serious incident occurred near the Hamilius stop, where an individual attempted to flee when he realised police were carrying out checks. Officers at the scene suspected the man was trying to conceal drugs. He was subjected to a body search, which revealed a number of packets containing cannabis, and a scan came back with positive results.
The public prosecutor's office ordered the man's arrest on suspicion of drug dealing.
In total, the operation deployed 17 police officers, accompanied by a canine unit, to reinforce police presence on public transport and to ensure passengers' safety.
