The Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party (LSAP) has requested an urgent meeting with the relevant commissions to discuss the recent cyber attack targeting Post.
Deputies Taina Bofferding and Ben Polidori requested the meeting in a written letter in the hopes that Prime Minister Luc Frieden, Minister of Economy Lex Delles, Minister of Home Affairs Léon Gloden, and Minister for Digitalisation Stéphanie Obertin would shed light on the major network outage on 23 July.
The LSAP MPs also asked that the relevant ministers discuss what lessons can be learned from this experience, and how the government can maximise security against such attacks in the future.
