In the early hours of Friday, a motorist attempted to evade a police checkpoint in Hollerich, speeding away in the direction of Route d’Esch. After a brief pursuit, officers managed to stop the vehicle on Rue Antoine Meyer.
Upon inspection, the driver was found to be intoxicated and already subject to a driving ban. Police issued an additional provisional driving suspension.
Later that night, another drink-driving offence was recorded on Rue Émile Lavandier, also in Hollerich.
