On Sunday evening, authorities were alerted to a drink driver in Mondorf-les-Bains. The driver had been stopped by another person when attempting to drive on. When police arrived, they found the driver had left the vehicle but located them shortly afterwards. A breathalyser test was positive, and the driver’s licence was confiscated.
The driver then became angry and displayed aggressive behaviour towards the officers. As they did not calm down and posed a threat to themselves and others, they were taken into custody following a medical examination.
Another drink driver attracted attention on Monday at 1am while drifting across lanes on the A13. Police were promptly alerted, and the driver took a breath test which was positive. Their licence was seized.
