In a separate incident on Tuesday at around 5pm, intruders broke into cellars of a residential building on Rue du Commerce in Esch-sur-Alzette. The burglars stole several items after searching two separate cellar units.

Later that evening at around 6pm, three individuals attempted to break into an unoccupied house on Rue de Mondorf in Frisange. After breaking a window and garden door, the suspects were interrupted by a neighbour and fled the scene. Authorities have opened an investigation but have yet to identify any suspects.
