A police vehicle collided with a civilian car during an early-morning operation near Luxembourg City's Jean-Pierre Buchler bridge on Friday.
A police car was involved in a collision with a civilian vehicle in Luxembourg City early Friday morning, marking the second such incident this month. The accident occurred around 5am near the Jean-Pierre Buchler bridge, prompting a significant emergency response.
Both the officers – who were mid-operation at the time – and the civilian driver were transported to the hospital for medical evaluations. Authorities confirmed their injuries appeared non-life-threatening, describing the hospital visits as precautionary "check-ups". An official report has been filed.
This marks the second police-related traffic incident in March. Two weeks prior, a patrol car struck a 12-year-old on Boulevard Royal. The Public Prosecutor's Office later determined the teenager had crossed against a red traffic light.
