The fast-delivery company is celebrating its first anniversary in Luxembourg, and marked the occasion by sharing some interesting facts about Luxembourg's food orders.

Over the past year, the company has delivered more than 170,000 burger meals and nearly 60,000 pizzas, while its restaurant network has grown from 200 to nearly 600 establishments.

Hamburgers have been the most popular order, followed by pizza, kebabs, Italian cuisine, and sandwiches, with Five Guys’ cheeseburger being the most frequently ordered item.

The five most-ordered restaurants on the platform in Luxembourg include McDonald's, Five Guys, Burger King, Simon Says Chicken, and Souvlaki.

Wolt first launched in Luxembourg City on 29 February 2024 before expanding to Esch-sur-Alzette in June and Mersch in July. The company says more than 80% of Luxembourg's population now has access to its services.

While restaurant deliveries remain the company's main focus, they have now expanded its offering to include grocery stores, wine merchants, gourmet food shops, florists, chocolatiers, and ice cream parlours.
