A head-on collision occurred on the CR101 road at “am Direndall” between Kopstal and Schoenfels shortly before 3pm on Thursday, leaving two people injured. Emergency services, including the Emergency Medical Assistance Team (SAMU), and paramedics from Lintgen, responded to the scene. Firefighters from Mersch and Kopstal also provided assistance.
The road was closed for over two hours, reopening shortly after 5pm.
In a separate incident, a tractor crashed into a house on Rue de Stavelot in Diekirch just before 12.30pm. on Thursday. One person was injured in the accident, and emergency services from Nordstad attended the scene.
