To foster greater inclusion for autistic students, non-profit Crunch Box has launched HASILUX, a website providing expert advice, personal stories, and practical tools for schools and families.
The non-profit association Crunch Box launched a new website, HASILUX, on 15 January, with support from the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte. Accessible at hasilux.lu, the platform serves as a comprehensive resource on autism and inclusion in schools, offering content in German, French, and English.
The website currently features over 60 articles, including firsthand accounts from autistic individuals, practical advice from experts, a directory of contact points, and an FAQ section that will be expanded in the future. Designed as a one-stop shop, HASILUX targets not only autistic students but also parents, families, teachers, and school staff.
Joanne Theisen and Gérard Kieffer, the project leads, emphasised that HASILUX aims to simplify access to essential information for all stakeholders. "Our goal is to promote the inclusion of autistic individuals in schools by enhancing connectivity and information sharing," they said.
