Just a few days ahead of Christmas, Burger Brands announced the opening of a new Burger King in Luxembourg - this time in Pommerloch.

Only two weeks after opening a new Burger King outlet in Kirchberg, the fast food chain expands to northern Luxembourg in Pommerloch. The new outlet, situated at 12 Route de Bastogne, welcomed customers this Thursday. To the fast food giant, the location is considered 'a strategic region for the brand's development'.

This marks the thirteenth Burger King in Luxembourg since the brand debuted in the Grand Duchy in June 2011 in Wasserbillig. Of these, ten are operated by Burger Brands Luxembourg, including branches in Bertrange, Bascharage, Foetz, Howald, Place d'Armes, Gare, Mersch, Marnach, Kirchberg, and now Pommerloch.

The new Pommerloch restaurant spans 168 square metres and offers a seating capacity of 100 indoors and 36 on the terrace. Designed with families in mind, it includes a play area and interactive tables. For convenience, the outlet features six digital ordering terminals, two soda machines, a drive-through service, and table service. A team of 35 local employees has been hired to run the operations.

Future Plans for Expansion

The opening of this newest Burger Brands Luxembourg-operated outlet represents a significant milestone for the company. Kevin Derycke, CEO of Burger Brands Luxembourg, expressed pride in the achievement and reiterated the company’s commitment to growth in Luxembourg: “This is a milestone to be proud of, but our ambition doesn't stop there. We intend to continue developing the brand and are constantly on the lookout for new opportunities.”
