At their end-of-year press conference, Chamber of Commerce officials called for an increase in productivity among Luxembourg businesses, including through the use of artificial intelligence.
The Chamber of Commerce advocates for increased productivity if Luxembourg businesses are to remain competitive. According to the Chamber, enhancing productivity is crucial for helping the Grand Duchy navigate the current period of uncertainty.
The Chamber of Commerce believes that artificial intelligence will play a key role in boosting productivity. However, officials also stressed the need to address structural challenges, such as the significant labor shortage, as part of the solutions discussed during their end-of-year press conference.
Over the next few months, the Chamber of Commerce plans to develop concrete ideas on how to streamline administrative procedures for businesses. These plans will be presented to the government in the first half of 2025.
