Police have been looking for witnesses after a child was knocked down by a car on Rue de Luxembourg in Esch.

The police are particularly looking for the driver whose car the child ran past before being hit by a car on the opposite lane.

People who witnessed any part of the incident should alert the police directory in Esch, either by calling them via +352 244501000 or sending an email to police.esch@police.etat.lu.

On Friday morning, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps had also filed a report of the accident, which the paramedics from Esch tended to.
