Prime Minister Luc Frieden, along with Ministers Franz Fayot, Taina Bofferding, and Claude Turmes, are at the table, focusing on concrete proposals to boost the development of renewable energy sources, particularly wind and solar power which are seen as having the most potential in Luxembourg.

On Wednesday morning, the Chamber of Deputies will host a public debate on a petition calling for a 13th monthly pension payment, to be issued in December. The petition has garnered support from over 5,300 signatories. The debate will start at 10am.

In the afternoon, the Chamber will hold a plenary session, which will include a question-and-answer session with the government. Key topics on the agenda include menopause and the respect for values in sports. The Greens (déi Gréng) have also requested a current affairs session to discuss the idea of a global minimum wealth tax for billionaires, while the Alternative Democratic Reform Party (ADR) has put forward a request for additional measures in asylum and immigration policy.
