On Friday, Cactus and the Fondation Kiwanis announced their new partnership to support Télévie, a key local initiative in cancer research.

This collaboration underscores Cactus's commitment to addressing important social issues, with the family-owned business pledging to spearhead several fundraising initiatives for the Fondation Kiwanis and Télévie. Through these efforts, Cactus aims to raise awareness of cancer research while encouraging customer participation.

This year, the Télévie telethon raised €1,454,376 for cancer research. Throughout the year, private individuals, charities, organisations, associations and companies have been campaigning for television, collecting donations and thus supporting the initiative.

Starting Friday, Cactus will sell Télévie-themed merchandise in their stores, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Fondation Kiwanis, which has been managing Télévie donations in Luxembourg since 2001. Additionally, customers can purchase "solidarity products" crafted in one of Cactus’s four workshops. A portion of the sales from these items will be donated to the foundation, with the remaining proceeds benefiting Télévie.

These solidarity products will be prominently featured in stores and will change with the seasons. To kick things off, the first offerings include "Schnékert’s stolle", Cactus’s homemade marble cake, and Cactus fresh milk.

Through this partnership, Cactus is not only supporting cancer research but also encouraging the community to join in the fight against cancer.
