Commuters faced long delays on the A3 motorway towards Luxembourg City on Friday morning following a three-car accident.

A three-car accident caused significant delays on the A3 motorway heading towards Luxembourg City on Friday morning. The crash, which occurred around 7.30am, severely slowed traffic for more than an hour and a half.

Motorists, already facing regular delays due to ongoing roadworks, encountered further disruptions as only one lane remained open.

At around 9am, an immobilised vehicle was still blocking the left-hand lane.

Witnesses described the situation as particularly challenging, with heavy traffic extending several kilometres beyond the border between France and Luxembourg. Authorities have yet to release details about the accident's cause.
