Three people were arrested after Luxembourg police seized a substantial amount of cannabis during searches in two northern municipalities.

On 29 October 2024, the Luxembourg police carried out three searches on the orders of the public prosecutor's office in the municipalities of Wincrange and Weiswampach.

During these searches, officers seized one kilogramme of cannabis, nearly €15,000 in cash, and various paraphernalia.

On the orders of the Diekirch public prosecutor's office, three people were arrested for drug offences and brought before an examining magistrate on 30 October. The three suspects were remanded in custody.
