In the last three months alone, 59 people have been arrested in the capital's Gare district on suspicion of drug dealing.

This represents an increase compared to 2023, when 37 people were arrested over the same time period. Around 100 people have been arrested for drug dealing offences in the Gare district, Hollerich, Bonnevoie and around the Hamilius area since the start of the year.

This was not the first offence for just over half of the people arrested, as many of them had already encountered the police over the past 18 months. Minister of the Interior Léon Gloden provided these figures in response to a parliamentary question submitted by the  CSV.
