The Markusberg tunnel on the A13 motorway will be closed in both directions on Sunday night.

Roadworks are scheduled to begin at midnight on Sunday 29 September, until around 5am on Monday morning.

The Roads and Bridges Administration is set to carry out work on the road surfaces in the tunnel, forcing it to close in both directions.

Two deviations will be put in place for motorists, which will also take into account the ING Route de Vin in Remich on Sunday, so as not to conflict with this sporting event.

Traffic coming from the A13 motorway towards Germany will be diverted via the Mondorf interchange, the N16, the CR162, the CR152, the N10 and the Schengen interchange.

Traffic coming from the A13 motorway and heading towards Pétange will be diverted via the Schengen interchange, the N10, the CR162, the CR152, the N16 and the Mondorf interchange.
