From this Saturday, motorists in Luxembourg will face a noticeable increase in the price of petrol 98 and diesel. Only petrol 95 will be spared.

Fuel prices are set to rise again in Luxembourg. As of Saturday, petrol 98 will increase by 3.3 cents per litre, bringing the price to €1.617. Diesel will see an even sharper rise of 3.8 cents, with the new price set at €1.465 per litre.

By contrast, the price of unleaded 95 petrol will remain unchanged at €1.457 per litre.

In practical terms, the increase will quickly be felt at the pump. Filling a 50 litre tank will cost an additional €1.65 for 98 octane petrol and €1.90 for diesel.
