Muller confirmed her decision to resign from the Pirate Party on Wednesday, indicating she would be joining the Luxembourg Socialist Workers’ Party (LSAP) instead. The councillor said the decision had not been made lightly, but that after numerous discussions and a long period of reflection, she had come to the conclusion that the LSAP’s policies were more in line with her priorities for the capital.

With the addition of Muller, the LSAP is now represented by four councillors on the Luxembourg City municipal council, including Maxime Miltgen, Antonia Afonso Bagine, and Gabriel Boisante.

The former Pirate Party MP, Ben Polidori, also recently announced his decision to join the LSAP in parliament. In Pétange, Pirate councillor Jean-Pierre Ecker also resigned this week.
