In an interview with RTL, Luxembourg’s Archbishop Jean-Claude Hollerich discussed Pope Francis and his health.
He revealed that he visited the Pope on Friday and found him in good spirits, although he is currently experiencing some flu symptoms, much like Hollerich himself.
With the Pope set to turn 88 in December and having recently completed a demanding ten-day trip to Asia and the Pacific, there are understandable concerns regarding his well-being. Nevertheless, the Luxembourgish cardinal conveyed a sense of calm about the upcoming visit, stating, “I am feeling calm about this visit, but I am glad that he now has time to rest due to his flu.”
Later this evening, the cardinal will make a television appearance to address the Caritas affair for the first time in a special broadcast.
