It was a busy weekend for the police, with multiple incidents involving individuals driving under the influence.

Around 8pm on Saturday between Waldhof and Gonderange, a collision occurred between a car and a bus, causing both vehicles to veer off the road. The car driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for a check-up, while no one on the bus was injured. Both vehicles were damaged, and the driver, who tested positive in a breathalyser test, had his license revoked.

Shortly after 3am on Sunday, police were alerted to a motorist who had collided with two parked cars in the city. A bus driver later reported that their bus had been sideswiped by a car. An investigation led to the suspect, and their vehicle was stopped on the A4. The driver was uncooperative and refused a breathalyser test, resulting in a provisional driving ban.

At around 4am in Cents, another accident occurred when a car crashed into two parked vehicles, slightly injuring two people. Alcohol was again a factor, and a driving ban was imposed. It was also discovered that the driver no longer had a valid license, and the public prosecutor's office was informed.

Just before 4am on the A3 near Livange, another alcohol-related accident occurred. While no injuries were reported, the driver involved had their license revoked.
