Due to the presence of industrial contaminants, two brands of marshmallows – Aldi and Favorina – are being recalled; additionally, Delhaize own brand Reblochon de Savoie may contain traces of E.coli bacteria.
The Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) has announced that several products must be recalled.
A high proportion of mineral oil contaminants was detected in marshmallows from the brands Aldi and Favorina.
The recall concerns Aldi products with lot number LT25249A and a best-before date of June 2026, sold between 6 and 27 October. Favorina products with lot number LT25241KB and a best-before date of May 2026 are also affected.






Additionally, Delhaize also announced that it had to recall its own-brand Reblochon de Savoie for the possible presence of E.coli bacteria. The affected products have the barcode 221819XXXXXXX, with a best-before date of 11 November, 2025. These were sold in stores in this country between October 23 and 25.
Customers who have purchased any of these products are strongly advised not to consume them. Products can be returned to the point of sale for a full refund.
