Around 2.45am on Sunday morning, a fatal accident occurred on rue de Trèves in Findel.

According to police reports, a female driver lost control of her vehicle for reasons still unknown and crashed into a tree. Emergency services, including two ambulances and fire brigades from the city, Sandweiler, and Findel, were despatched to the scene.

Her 38-year-old passenger died at the scene despite treatment by emergency medical staff. The driver sustained minor injuries.

By order of the public prosecutor, the police’s measurement and identification service was deployed to the scene.
