On Tuesday, police conducted a check in the Gare neighbourhood of Luxembourg City as part of their ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking.
During the operation, officers observed a group of individuals on Rue Joseph Junck. The police suspected that the group included a drug dealer and two clients. Upon inspecting the two suspected clients, officers discovered a drug pellet concealed in one individual's mouth.
Meanwhile, another police patrol located the suspected dealer. When approached, the dealer appeared to swallow something. Following orders from the public prosecutor's office, the individual was taken to a hospital for a CT scan, which revealed approximately 20 foreign objects inside their body. The suspected dealer was subsequently arrested and appeared before an examining magistrate on Wednesday morning.
