The global fast-food giant KFC is set to make its debut in Luxembourg this autumn, with the opening of its first restaurant scheduled for 2 October in Esch-Belval.

KFC has announced that its first restaurant in Luxembourg will open on Wednesday, 2 October, at 11am. The new location will be situated in Esch-Belval.

The Belval Plaza KFC will be the largest of the franchise's restaurants and is expected to create 70 jobs, including opportunities for students from the nearby university. Recruitment for these positions is currently underway in collaboration with the National Employment Agency (ADEM).

The restaurant will feature 136 seats, both indoors and on an outdoor terrace. KFC's entry into the Luxembourg market is in partnership with Firce Capital, and the chain has announced plans to open ten additional restaurants in the country by 2028.
