Police in Luxembourg revoked the driving licences of three individuals on Friday after each was caught driving under the influence of alcohol.
The first incident occurred at around 1pm when police were alerted to a car swerving on the Munsbach access road to the A1 motorway. The driver, who was stopped shortly afterward, failed an alcohol test, leading to the revocation of their licence and the seizure of their vehicle by the public prosecutor's office.
Three hours later, in Consdorf, a similar situation unfolded when another driver was found exhibiting erratic driving behaviour. This driver's alcohol level was also above the legal limit, resulting in a provisional confiscation of their licence.
The final case happened at around 9.30pm, when a vehicle was seen driving erratically between Bollendorf and Echternach without its lights on. The driver was stopped in Echternach, and their licence was revoked due to their elevated blood alcohol content.
