147 parking spaces will reopen to the public at the Belval university P+R car park, as they were not directly affected by the fire which damaged the building in February.

As for the remainder of the car park, studies are ongoing to determine a plan for the renovations.

A fire broke out at the car park in February this year, damaging six cars and requiring extensive repairs.

Several months on, and following a number of technical installations and security checks, part of the first floor will reopen to the public on 2 September. The reopened area was not affected by the fire and can be accessed as usual, but cars must exit via the second floor.

Signs have been put in place and CFL staff will be on hand to advise motorists.

The remainder of the first floor will remain shut awaiting further repairs.
