Two arrests were made in Luxembourg City on Monday, with police operations targeting a theft at a Kirchberg shopping centre and a suspected drug deal on Boulevard de la Pétrusse.

Police in Luxembourg City made two separate arrests on Monday, one for theft and another for suspected drug dealing.

The first incident occurred in the late afternoon at a shopping centre in Kirchberg. Following a report of a theft, a despatched patrol identified a suspect, recovered the stolen items, and returned them to the establishment. The individual was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor's office and brought before an examining magistrate.

Later that evening, a police patrol in the Gare neighbourhood observed what they believed to be a drug deal on Boulevard de la Pétrusse. Officers apprehended a suspected dealer on the spot.
