Police report that a house on rue André Duchscher in Echternach caught fire on Friday. Fortunately, nobody was in the building during the incident.

The authorities quickly brought the fire under control and ensured the flames would not spread to neighbouring buildings. In a press statement, the police announced there was no further danger to the area.
