Authorities have issued a witness appeal following an incident involving a pedestrian and a car that occurred last year in Luxembourg City.

The incident took place on 22 October 2025 on Boulevard Royal, near the intersection with Avenue Emile Reuter. According to preliminary information, a pedestrian was crossing a zebra crossing at around 2pm when a vehicle approached her at high speed. The driver braked suddenly, startling the woman and causing her to fall. She sustained injuries as a result of the fall.

The motorist reportedly continued driving without stopping to check on the pedestrian’s condition.

Police are now seeking to identify the driver or any witnesses who may have seen what happened. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Limpertsberg police station by calling 144 48 1000 or by emailing police.limpertsberg@police.etat.lu.
