Time to wipe the dust off your sunglasses as summer is back on the menu after last week's rainy downpour.

Monday starts off on a high with temperatures of 24 to 29 degrees. Sunny, cloudless, skies await you with gentle eastern winds of up to 20 to 30 km/h.

The night will cool down to 10 to 15 degrees with temperatures in the Éislek dropping to 9 degrees.

For Tuesday, however, MeteoLux has issued a yellow alert heat warning for the south of the country with temperatures expected to reach a blistering 30 and 32 degrees.

The searing weather continues for Wednesday as temperatures are expected to reach 33 degrees, but the afternoon and evening will cool the country back down with forecasts of rain and thunder.
