At a press conference on Friday morning, the Ministry of Consumer Protection reported that there has been no increase in the number of complaints related to flight delays or cancellations in Luxembourg.
According to the Ministry, Luxembourg's national airline Luxair received the fewest passenger complaints among airlines. Additionally, over 84% of all air travel-related issues were resolved within three months. On the other hand, Minister for Consumer Protection Martine Hansen noted an increase in the number of flights at Findel Airport.
Passengers can learn about their right to refunds or compensation for delayed or cancelled flights and long-distance train services through the website passengers.lu. The government and relevant services provided information on this topic at the press conference held at Findel Airport.
On the same day, the agreement between the Consumer Protection Directorate, the Luxembourg Consumer Protection Association (ULC), and the European Consumer Centre Luxembourg (CEC) was also renewed. This agreement aims to simplify the complaint process for consumers.
