The Grand Ducal police joined forces with the Metz International Transport Control Brigade on Wednesday to carry out checks on the trains between Luxembourg and France.

Patrols focused on immigration and drug violations, as well as increasing police presence on board public transport.

Out of 42 people stopped, 12 were found to be illegally living in France. Further details were not released by the authorities.
