Around 4am on Monday, two intoxicated men arrived at the city police station to report a stolen car.

The vehicle, however, had not been stolen but had been towed away. Police advised the men to sober up first before searching for their car.

After a lengthy discussion, they left the station, but it wasn’t long before they encountered a passing police car. Their behaviour posed a risk to themselves and others, leading to their detention.

The men reacted aggressively to their arrest.

During the incident, police seized hashish and a quantity of pills from both men.

They spent the rest of the night in the holding cell.
