Following reports of a suspicious indvidual thought to be carrying a firearm, police followed up with an investigation. By order of the public prosecutor, a car and an apartment in Bonnevoie were later searched, during which officers found an unregistered firearm, cannabis plants, drug-dealing equipment, and counterfeit money.
The items were seized during the search that was assisted by a Special Police Unit (USP).
According to RTL sources, a street in Bonnevoie was blocked off during the operation.
