A police patrol came across an injured person at Place de la Gare on Sunday night.

The man explained to officers that he had been robbed shortly after midnight. The thief had violently snatched cash money off of his victim. An investigation was launched, and shortly after, police were able to arrest their suspect.

The man was presented to the magistrate's office directly on Monday.

The victim was hospitalised for a check-up.
