Shortly before 8 PM on Wednesday evening, emergency services were mobilized in the south of the country to contain a fire in a flat in Esch-sur-Alzette. The same evening, two road collisions occured.

The alarm was triggered at 7:54pm at the fire and rescue centers in Esch, Sanem-Differdange, Kayl, and Mondercange. The Esch emergency services dispatched two ambulances immediately.

On Wednesday evening, a fire broke out in a flat on rue Jean-Pierre Michels in Esch-sur-Alzette. Five occupants were immediately taken by ambulance to the emergency department of Emile Mayrisch Hospital to assess smoke inhalation exposure.

Two injured on our roads

At around 9:15pm, ambulances from Luxembourg City were called at the Irrgarten roundabout as two individuals were injured following a violent collision between a car and a motorbike.

Earlier, at around 6:00pm, a motorcyclist was knocked down on rue Robert Schuman in Frisange but was not injured, according to the CGDIS.
