Two drivers refused to comply with police checks on Monday night—one in Esch-sur-Alzette and the other near Beaufort. However, police eventually apprehended both individuals.

The first incident occurred when police received a report of a potentially inebriated driver in Bettendorf. A patrol located the vehicle in Dillingen, near Beaufort. Despite clear signals to pull over, the driver fled at high speed.

After a brief pursuit, the police managed to stop the vehicle. The driver tested positive for alcohol, leading to the revocation of their driving licence.

Later that night, another driver evaded a police check in Esch-Belval. Police intercepted the vehicle on Boulevard Prince Henri. During the inspection, it was discovered that the driver had already been banned from driving. Additionally, several drugs and drug-related paraphernalia were found in the car. A penalty notice was issued by order of the public prosecutor's office.
