Following a complaint by the Luxembourg National Women's Council (CNFL), the Ethics Commission for Advertising has stated that an advertisement by the Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts is sexist.

The advertisement in question was part of a campaign aimed at encouraging young people to enrol in a Master Craftsman's Certificate programme. The Ethics Commission found that the ad relied on stereotypical depictions, contributing to gender discrimination and inequality.

The Commission has called for the advertisement to be withdrawn and announced that a formal letter will be sent to the Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts demanding its removal.
