Thursday's weather conditions, with localised thunderstorms and storms across Europe, disrupted air traffic and caused flight delays and cancellations at Luxembourg airport.
Several delays were announced at Luxembourg airport for both departures and arrivals.
Some flights were also cancelled, notably the 3pm flight to Hamburg, the 3.30pm flight to Geneva, the 6.10pm flight to Geneva, the 6.40pm departure to Frankfurt as well as the 8pm flight to Munich.
Flightradar24 indicates that a number of airports across Europe are also now affected by significant delays. Other cities currently impacted include Hamburg, Prague, Warsaw, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Tirana, Tel Aviv and Istanbul.

On Friday morning, the 8.25am flight to Munich was the only departure that was cancelled.
LuxAirport confirmed that current weather conditions were the cause of these delays, with thunderstorms or strong winds preventing planes from taking off on time.
Cancellations occur because planes from other destinations fail to reach Luxembourg and no aircraft is available to ensure the return flight to the destination concerned.
LuxAirport calls on travellers to consult its website to find out about possible delays. Officials cannot yet say how the weather situation will evolve or how long the air traffic disruptions will last.
