Two people were injured in separate accidents on Wednesday evening, according to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS).

At approximately 5.10pm, a pedestrian was struck by a car on Rue Pierre Clement in Bascharage. Shortly after, a motorcyclist was injured in a crash on the CR325 between Drauffelt and Erpeldange.

In addition to these incidents, the CGDIS responded to two fires on Wednesday evening. A rubbish fire was reported in Wilwerwiltz shortly after 9pm, and later, a rubbish bin and a trailer caught fire in Clervaux shortly after 11pm.
