During his National Day speech at the Philharmonie, His Royal Highness The Grand Duke recognised four individuals for their civic engagement, their moral courage and exemplary role modelling.
On 23 June, the National Day celebrations began with a ceremony at the Philharmonie, hosted by the government, where the Grand Duke delivered a speech, alongside Prime Minister Frieden and the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Claude Wiseler.
Traditionally during his speech, the Grand Duke takes the opportunity to honour individuals who contributed to the service of others, the community, society and the country.
