Meteolux has issued a yellow alert effective from 10am on Thursday, extending until after midnight, due to expected thunderstorms in the region.

Local thunderstorms may bring gusty winds and heavy rainfall, totalling between 10 to 20 mm within a short period.

During the early evening, there is a heightened risk of hail as active thunderstorm cells move across the area.
