On Saturday, just before midnight, two cars collided into each other, resulting in one individual being seriously injured.
Two other individuals sustained only minor injuries. According to the police, initial reports suggest that the two vehicles collided head-on in a curve, causing both to be thrown into a roadside ditch.
Emergency services from Sanem-Differdange, Esch, and Mamer were dispatched to the scene.
Around the same time, a car crashed into a tree on Beigewee in Eschweiler near Wiltz. Rescue teams from Wiltz and Ettelbruck were deployed. According to a report from the CGDIS (Grand-Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps), no injuries were reported in this incident.
Additionally, on Saturday around 8:40 PM, a car accident occurred between Hellange and Bettembourg, resulting in the vehicle catching fire. Fortunately, only material damage was sustained.
