A resident of Rolling reached out to RTL on Monday morning after spotting a diamond pheasant waddling about their neighbour's garden.
The pheasant was surely a lovely site, but most likely lost and belonging to a private individual.
The Environment Agency reports that the diamond pheasant may not survive for long in the wild, as it is hunted by foxes. Hence the urgent appeal that the pheasant quickly finds its way back to its owner.
Its owner should contact the phone number 691 699 065.
