According to a spokesperson for the High Commission for National Protection (HCPN), isolated cyberattacks persist on Friday.
These attacks, occurring in intermittent waves, have targeted various websites across Luxembourg. Crisis cells are diligently managing the situation and are constantly kept up to date, as is Prime Minister Luc Frieden.
Despite the ongoing threat, the HCPN assured that the situation remains under control. The commission maintains communication with affected companies and websites, providing guidance on how they can best protect themselves.
On Thursday afternoon, a series of attacks reportedly claimed by Russian hackers had also affected several government websites.
