Recently gaining recognition as a hidden gem for avid hikers, Luxembourg drew the attention of a Times correspondent who explored the Minett trail.
A decade in the making and spanning 90 kilometers, the trail comprises of ten interconnected stages that guide you through the region's nature, history, and towns. Notably, it won an award in the Tourism Awards 2023.
2023 was the year where the country's hiking trails received acknowledgement.
In the same year, the Mullerthal Trail secured the prestigious 'Leading Quality Trails - Best of Europe' label for the fourth consecutive time, a testament to its enduring excellence.
The Éisleck region, boasting an extensive network of over 1,900 kilometers of countryside walking trails, was officially certified as a 'quality hiking region.'
These accomplishments underscore Luxembourg's dedication to offering premier hiking experiences, solidifying its position as a preferred destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
