Around thirty firefighters were deployed early Wednesday afternoon to extinguish a fire that erupted on the roof of an equestrian centre in Habscht.

The fire originated in the chimney of the building. At around 2pm, firefighters were on the scene at the Kempemillen equestrian centre, situated in Habscht in the western part of the country, near the Belgian-Luxembourg border.

No injuries were reported, and all animals at the equestrian centre, which also functions as a horse pension, remained unharmed.
