Saturday once again saw crowds gathered calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.

A few 100 meters away from the ceasefire protests, another protest took place calling for the release of all Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. Both groups, in their own words, calling for peace in the Middle East, yet both appear alone in their efforts. However, an International Bazar without Israel is unacceptable for everyone.

The Gazan ceasefire protest's starting point is at the Philharmonie where it proceeds through the City and ends at the Place de Clairefontaine. Seeing Palestinian flags across the City's streets is becoming more and more of a habit. The protest is committed to peace in the Middle East but equally committed to human rights as well.

No representatives of the Israeli community were seen but coincidentally, another protest was taking place at the end of Grand-Rue. A small group gathered together to call for the release of all Israeli hostages. The group also called out the absence of an Israeli stand at this year's International Bazar.
